Mexican restaurant Pina Loca arrives in Bromborough

WIRRAL restaurateur plans to bring a Latin twist to Bromborough with his new business.

Pina Loca, the brainchild of Babul Miah, is a Mexican restaurant that will open on Allport Lane in the village later this month.

Located in the former McColl’s convenience store, better known as Dillons Newsagents.

Pina Loca – or “crazy pineapple” as the name suggests – will offer Babul’s take on Mexican classics as well as a tantalizing choice of Mexican-inspired small plates.

Not to mention a wine and cocktail list that will make you believe that you are in Mexico!

Refurbishment is currently underway for Pina Loca Mexican Kitchen in the village of Bromborough

Owner Babul Miah is a name synonymous with the restoration of the Wirral. A family member owns West Kirby’s Indian restaurant, Karma Indian Food.

Looking ahead to the launch of Pina Loca, Babul said: “I am very happy to open the doors and show Bromborough and the surrounding area what we have to offer.

“The warm welcome we have received from the local community is amazing, we already feel like part of the family and have not even opened the doors yet.

“The whole team has been working very hard for months to perfect our dishes and make sure our drink menu is really up to par.

“We hope to open later this month if all goes as planned.”

Pina Loca is looking to hire chefs, bartenders and waiters, full time and part time. If you are interested and would like to apply, send your CV to [email protected]
