New apartment complex in St. Charles County

St. Peters Luxury Living Resort, a 180-unit upscale apartment complex, is moving forward following zoning and site plan approval.

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – A new apartment complex has received final approvals from the City of St. Peters and will begin construction in the second quarter of this year.

St. Peters Luxury Living Resort, a 180-unit upscale apartment complex, is moving forward following zoning and site plan approval. The project comprises 297,000 square feet spread over five three-story residential buildings and a one-story 3,800 square foot pavilion. The drawings for the permits were submitted to the city on Jan. 21 and have been approved, Chesterfield-based developer Mia Rose Holdings said in a press release.

Located off Mexico Road near the intersection of Mid-Rivers Mall Drive with close access to Interstate 70, The Station will be the fourth apartment complex in St. Charles County for Mia Rose Holdings, following Grand Central in the junction of Wentzville, The Prairie in Dardenne Prairie and The Meadows in Lake Saint Louis. The company has also developed 44 West Luxury Living in St. Louis County and PURE Springdale in northwest Arkansas. The Station is the company’s fifth new construction to start last year, following PURE, The Meadows, 44 West Luxury Living and The Prairie.

Development costs for The Station were not disclosed.

Like these other complexes, The Station will be an “amenity-rich apartment community” designed to meet the growing demand for rental housing options in St. Charles County, the developer said. The new pet-friendly resort will feature 60 two-bedroom units and 120 one-bedroom units, with a resort-style pool and deck, pickleball court, outdoor lounge with fire pit, barbecue grill and picnic area community picnic and bike racks.

Construction could end in the first quarter of 2023. The specific site was selected due to a successful flagship commercial development at the nearest intersection with an Imo pizza, subway and Wingstop, officials said. The mall was built by Jim Cook, principal of Mia Rose Holdings, Imo franchisee and co-owner of the Sugarfire Smokehouse restaurant chain.
