New Mexican restaurant is looking for staff
Mexican restaurant Pina Loca is set to open in Merseyside later this month and owner Babul Miah is looking to bolster his team. Tony McDonough Reports
A new Mexican restaurant will open in Wirral this month and the entrepreneur behind the business is looking to strengthen his team.
Babul Miah will open Pina Loca at Allport Lane in Bromborough later in November. It will be located on the site formerly occupied by McColl’s convenience store, but better known as Dillons Newsagents.
Pina Loca will bring “a slice of Latin flair” to Bromborough with her take on Mexican classics as well as a choice of Mexican-inspired small plates. It will also offer a wine and cocktail list that promises to “make you think you are in Mexico”.
Pina Loca, or “Crazy Pineapple” as the name suggests, is the brain child of Mr. Miah, a name synonymous with catering in Wirral. He is a member of the same family that owns West Kirby’s popular Indian restaurant, Karma Indian Food.
He said: “I am so excited to open the doors and show Bromborough and the surrounding areas what we have to offer. The warm welcome we have received from the local community is amazing, we already feel like part of the family and have not even opened the doors yet.
“The whole team has been working very hard for months to perfect our dishes and ensure that our drink menu is really up to par. We hope to open later this month if all goes according to plan.
Pina Loca is looking to hire chefs, bartenders and waiters, full time and part time. To apply, send a copy of your CV to [email protected]
