Opening of a new Mexican restaurant on May 9 in Suburban Square

ARDMORE, PA – A new Mexican restaurant is coming to Ardmore’s Suburban Square next month.

Rosa Mexicano plans to open May 9 at 105 Coulter Ave.

The Mexican chain’s Ardmore location will seat 300 people in addition to a bar for 17 people, a private dining room for 12 people and a garden for 50 people.

Menu items include a contemporary take on authentic Mexican cuisine with both beloved classics and innovative, sophisticated dishes that pay homage to Mexico’s rich and diverse culinary regions.

The chain’s beverage program features more than 100 varieties of tequila and agave-based spirits, as well as the restaurant’s frozen pomegranate margarita.

“The announcement of Rosa Mexicano’s grand opening in Suburban Square is something we’ve been looking forward to sharing with our community,” said Joy Medlock, General Manager of Suburban Square. “Whether guests come in to shop and stop for a drink or enjoy a celebratory dinner, we can’t wait for them to experience delicious yet authentic Mexican cuisine in a true ‘elevated fiesta’ atmosphere.”

The announcement comes a year after Suburban Squarer welcomed new fine dining tenants, including Dan Dan and Lola’s Garden.

“We have been looking forward to Rosa Mexicano’s expansion into the Ardmore community. The opening reflects our founding chef, Josefina Howard’s vision of bringing fine Mexican cuisine and authentic Mexican heritage to different markets,” said Rosa Mexicano CEO Jim Dunn. “With a completely redesigned new menu and brand appearance, we are thrilled to serve Suburban Square with an exciting new approach to Mexican cuisine.”
